Flower Mountain Yamano 3 ECO Vegan Trainers - Grey/Beige

The Yamano 3 ECO is Flower Mountains most Sustainable & Green product yet. The same old Yamano trainer we know and love that's inspired by a trekking shoe construction however this VEGAN option is built using only Recycled Nylon, Recycled PET and Flower Mountains own Bio Based product KAISO.  

In Japanese KAISO means 'algae' - and each ECO Yamano features a KAISO EVA Outsole: Up to 40% of each Kasio outsole is made from sustainable resin pellets produced combining algae biomass with base polymers. The Bloom® algae foam partially replaces fossil fuels with a bio material that’s literally green: Algae harvested from harmful blooms restores balance to natural ecosystems. Bloom® harvests this harmful algae, dries it and turns it into a biomass, perfect for creating eco-friendly, high performance foams for footwear.

The ECO Yamano 3 also features Sustainable Microfibre Uppers that are crafted from fabrics composing of bio-based material. Sourced from renewable, plant raw materials such as corn, which is verified to have renewable carbon content as high as 45%-100% and Recycled Nylon composing of 100% recycled post-consumer polyamide. The Inner lining is constructed from 100% recycled PET bottles.

Still featuring the classic reinforced trekking eyelets, trekking laces and the the brands signature antibacterial cork insole that provides all day comfort. Finished with an off-white Kaiso EVA midsole and an ultra-light rubber outsole with indented tread for perfect grip.
