The Shell Cargo shorts from Gramicci are a seriously lightweight pair of military-inspired shorts made for climbing, hiking and pretty much everything else. Made from a windproof, water repellent fabric, they’re great at both splashing around by the side of a river or keeping you dry in a midsummer downpour. Because of those big bellows side cargo pockets, there’s plenty of haulage space for travel.

*Please note that we list our Gramicci products using their Japanese sizing, as recommended by the brand themselves. As a result, Gramicci sizing runs small. For more information, please see our size chart.

Since 1982, Gramicci has been making functional clothing for life in the great outdoors with a focus on flexibility. Loved by countless culture movements, what started out in a garage in Ventura California has traveled to the streets of Tokyo and beyond. Over 40 years since the first pair of Gramicci shorts were sewn together in Mike Graham’s garage, the brands ethos remains the same; hard-wearing, functional clothing, designed with movement firmly in mind.

Gramicci

Since its inception in 1982, Gramicci has been a beacon of functional clothing crafted for the outdoor enthusiast. Born from the innovative spirit of California's Stonemasters, who sought a blend of speed and style in their climbing endeavors, Gramicci's journey began with the creation of the first true climbing shorts. Designed by Mike Graham, these shorts boasted a diamond-shaped gusset for unparalleled flexibility, coupled with hard-wearing canvas construction for durability in the toughest terrains.

As the demand for versatile outdoor gear grew, so did Gramicci's offerings, expanding to include the iconic G-Pants that captured the attention of not only climbers but also surfers and skaters alike. With its humble beginnings in a Ventura garage, Gramicci's reputation spread beyond borders, finding a fervent following on the bustling streets of Tokyo.

Today, Gramicci remains true to its roots, continuing to innovate while staying faithful to its original ethos of crafting durable, movement-centric apparel. With over 40 years of heritage behind it, Gramicci stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of quality outdoor wear, beloved by adventurers and urban dwellers alike.
