The Fusion 2.0 is a tribute to the original 1996 model of the same name, once the top shoe in the Karhu collection. In collaboration with the original designer, Karhu has reinterpreted the Fusion to bring back this iconic design in a sneaker for today- the Fusion 2.0.
Crafted with a beautiful and tactile mesh toe box and with a mix of premium butter-soft nubuck and grained leather trims. They also feature panels of perforated leather overlays throughout. Signature Karhu details are present such as reinforced trekking eyelets and round trekking laces, all sitting on a retro, off-white EVA sole unit while reflective details on the heel and toe box enhance visibility in low-light conditions and elevate this limited run, seasonal colour-way.
This retro-inspired sneaker features Karhu's signature fulcrum technology, which helps to guide the foot through the natural running gait cycle while reducing impact and improving efficiency. The dual-density EVA midsole provides cushioning and support, while the rubber outsole offers excellent traction and durability, making these trainers suitable for a variety of terrains.
